What The Mother Teaches<\/em> is an Ideon Media and Motion Entertainment co-production that tells the story of Cree mother Sage Morin, who is also a professional wrestler known as The Matriarch. A 3-part digital video series launching on September 30, 2025 in honour of National Day For Truth & Reconciliation, What The Mother Teaches<\/em> is a powerful and personal look at the challenges facing Indigenous mothers in Canada, and the strength of their communities that support them.<\/p>\r\n

Held each year on September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation was recognized by the Canadian government beginning in 2021. The day honours the lost children and Survivors of residential schools, their families and communities.<\/p>\r\n\t
